Ou Ehm Gee! Another Artblog?!
Yup, no more Blogspot. I'm so used to LJ features that I find it difficult to keep updating my artblog ala Blogspot (and I hope that is the reason for not updating frequently :/).

First off, Welcome!
Ohh the cliché! Bear with me.
Here be my (akihoru) Art Blog, and I be updating artworks here. Savvy?

Be warned that I'm a long-winded grandmother in disguise and I usually ramble a lot when it comes to information of my characters. I usually don't expect anyone to read them, because it's mostly for my personal references. It'd be awesome if you do though. :3 But if you do, please do not take any information/storylines/ideas of mine and pass it off as your own.

My artworks are strictly not allowed to be used anywhere. That includes, but not limited to:
- Direct-linking my artworks anywhere
- Posting my artworks in your dA, websites, blogs
- Use my artworks for your forum signature and forum avatars
- Sell my artworks

You may however:
- Use my artworks for LJ avatars (with credit)
- Save them to your own computer for your personal use/collection
- Print my artworks for personal use/collection

This Journal is Semi-Friends Locked
I expect anyone who views my artblog to be liberal and open-minded.. but precautions have to be made nonetheless. Hence why I've decided to make my artblog semi-locked.

The reason behind this is that I sometimes draw subjects that others deem 'taboo' or simply not worksafe. Such as homosexual relationships, artistic nudity, violence, etc.

Any art content that is not work safe (or is somewhat inappropriate for public viewing) will be friends-locked. Other entries will be public. Controversial yet worksafe artworks (read: small hints of homosexual relationships, eg: boys hugging) may not be to one's personal liking. So these entries will have a warning, and the artworks will be under a LJ-cut.

If you do add this journal in your friends list, then I would automatically assume you're okay with everything I draw/create. If you're not comfortable with it but would like to have me in your friends list anyway, please do comment here and tell me, so if you've added this journal in your friends list, I won't add you back. Because if I did, you'll automatically be able to see the artworks.

Long time no see! :D

To cut everything short, after a huge load of problems with my old computer (read: where all my stuff including my artworks, assignments and whatnot are D:), including the net dying there... I managed to get back some artworks and stuff of mine.

So here's a little update!

Now what started this sketch back then was... I realized that most of my teenage/preteen characters are, well... emo. So I decided to draw all of them smiling for once. This fast sketch still makes me smile. :)

Wohoo! Character development! xD;
I'm sorry that it's long, but I just felt like writing their storyline a little. x3

Despite being one of my many pairs of twins characters, Caelum and Deilyn are possibly my only pair of twins with different fathers. They are a bizarre result of heteropaternal superfecundation.

Madren and Lévant (Element of Death) share the same body, but both are different souls. When Lent raped Rinella (Madren's first love), she somehow got pregnant with a pair of twins, with (technically) 'different' fathers.. Lévant being Caelum's father, and Madren being Deilyn's father. Although so, each of them has traits of each father, making it hard to confirm if they really are a proper pair of twins, or half-siblings.

I have not drawn the boys in their current age in a long, long time!
So I thought it's high time that I did. :3 Actually, it's high time that I actually draw. @_@

These are just rough sketches, but it's a start, I guess? x3

Each time I draw these two, they always wind up emo and stuff.
This is just a simple setting of Hyo spotting Vacell at an alley or something. ♥

Ohh, the ultimate selfcest, EVAH! 8D;
My mind was wandering today, and I started to think about Lent as his Real Life (RL) self, and his Ragnarok Online (RO) self. Then I thought,

"What happens if there's a RL Acey? What will happen when he meets RL Lent? O_O"

It was then that I realized just how different RL Lent is compared to his RO counterpart. RO Lent's still an ass that he should be, but in terms of love... he's a devoted husband to whipbogard's RO Acey and a proud father to joeykaiba's RO Larsa. So okay, after all that thinking (whew x_x), I finally thought of what will happen if both Lents were to meet.

Conclusion?
SELFCEST! 8D;

I'm trying my hardest to get drawing/doodling back as my lifestyle again.
I'm kinda glad I'm sorta succeeding so far. ^__^ Don't know how long this will last, but I'm making the best of it. I still have some more linearts I haven't finished yet. x3 But anyways, here are 2. :D


Larkspur - Owned by Quilibet at DoA
I came across this BJD Game in DoA, that is to draw the doll above you.
The person to post in the thread before me was Quilibet and she requested to have her Unoa Lusis, Larkspur, drawn. So I did a quick sketch and colouring for her, and enjoyed it because I've been wanting to draw/colour females. x3 I had so much fun adding the blushing on her cheeks. xD

And of course, finished the artwork I've been working on for the past week!

It's only right that I do another boring speedpainting that consist of Sero after doing one of Maddie. :x Once again, this didn't turn out quite like how I would like it to. :/ Ohh, well. Practice, practice! X<

Ohh, lemme just say I absolutely HATE colouring black hair. D: So hard to control my strokes and all. x_x

Ohh, and I'm starting to wonder if this pic of Sero links to the previous pic of Maddie... :x It wasn't intentional though.

Speedpainting of Madren as his animal representation - The Dog.
Didn't clean up the lineart, and did a quick, messy colouring as practice.
Ended up not really liking the colours all that much, but ohh well. I'm too sleepy to bother too much. xD;


Tried to make Maddie look sickly, not sure if I succeeded though. ^^;
I'm not too proud of this, but ohh well. I tried. :/

(And in case you're wondering, which you're probably not but I'll tell you anyway.. The words engraved on Maddie's collar says: Property of Sero. :P)

Caelum - How Can You Mend a Broken Everything?
Inspired by the song, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart by The Bee Gees. I don't think the drawing itself is related to the song though, perhaps just the title. ^^;
Caelum was attacked and cursed by a Serpent Demon when he was a child, hence the bandages. He still wraps himself with bandages, though not as much as the one in the drawing. xD; I'll colour this someday. :P

I've been having a bad artblock lately (so what else is new?) but I've been trying to get my art sense back. I don't think I did, but at least I drew something? Some drawings were done a month ago or so, I was just either too lazy to clean-up, or too lazy to scan it and post it here. :P

Today I decided, to hell with clean-up! I'll just post them. xD

These are also the first 2 artworks I posted in here that have colour. xD
I'm usually too lazy to either clean up my art, or colour them. :(
I shall make an effort to colour more drawings.

Now, usually when I have coloured works I tend to be very lengthy with my descriptions.
So be prepared. :x


Misplaced
Seibu? With bright colours? The world is ending. XD

Anyways, this is sort of an original character of mine.
Rashingi Member, West Side: Seibu.
Why I say 'sort of', is because he's basically modelled after me.. 8D;

2 years ago, alwizhyper, shirua, shibahara and I formed a personal group called Rashingi, and we each created a certain character (regardless of our actual gender & outlook) that represent ourselves. Mine, is Seibu.

Seibu's trademark is his chain-like necktie, usually connected to either his left wrist or the left side of his belt... and his beauty mark under his lower lips. Also, his orange-red hair (his tail actually has 'stripes-like' colouring, but it's not very visible here) and orange eyes. He likes wearing stripes, but is usually in black and white clothes. Why did he suddenly decided to wear more colour, I'll never know. 8D;

There is a reason for that cross patch connected to the light bulb. It symbolises, 'Working hard and going through loads of pain, in order to achieve evergreen ideas'. No idea why I actually put it there... I just drew what I felt like. Which led to the title, "Misplaced".

But I'm still really proud of them and these drawings took alot of effort. I've not drawn with full effort in a looong time. So, here they are.

I sacrificed my sleep time just for this. :x
But the idea kept repeating in my head, I couldn't take it. So I tried to sketch it out. But of course, me being me, most of them were crap and I threw them away. This one isn't all that great as well, but at least it's passable.

(And yes, I have yet to post my other previous works. I'm working on it. u_u)

Don't Steal My Limelight
I've been in such a Sero frenzy lately, I think a certain someone is feeling a 'little' inferior. ;)
I actually wanted to draw RO!Sero and RO!Madren, but it was really, really hard trying to draw RO!Madren. X_@; /can't seem to draw Madren in any other way except his usual (stupid, pricky, obnoxious) self. :(
So I ended up drawing RL!Sero (*coughSergiocough*) and RL!Madren. And once I did, I'm getting even more curious on how these 2 will interact when they actually meet.
